BMW All weather mats

I just got a set of all weather mats for my car.

Does anyone know if there is a way to keep them from moving around.
I know with the stock mats, you can push the screw in that comes included to anchor them down. Is there anything available for the all weather mats, it does look like they are designed to do this, as there are two holes but there where no screws included with my set.

I have the same question. Mine move just enough to be annoying. I still prefer them to the thin carpet mats though.

2bmw2, they have a place to make a hole on the mat. And underneath they have a circle, almost like the stock mats, but there is no velcro on them. Hmm.

Mine came with anchors, although I didn't bother using them. They're not the same as the Velcro anchors for the carpet mats. If you bought them from your dealer, I'd ask if they have the anchor hardware.

Mine came with 4 plastic anchor screws. I haven't installed it yet waiting for the smell to subside, but the fronts have it, they rears do not.

I didn't use my anchors - the position was off for some reason where the original ones were.

i got mine with the anchors installed, they dont move around at all. but when it comes time to wash them its a pain to get them off the anchors in the front, (no anchors in the back) but yeah no complaints.

Mine came with anchors with hooks that you push into the floor. I removed the screws for the regular mats and the anchors go in the exact same spot -- you push them in and then the mats stay anchored using the hooks. I really like it anchored since they stay put and protect the floor.

Hmm, did anybody buy their all weather mats afterwards, and if so, did they come with the anchors for the mats.

I just noticed that my passenger side all-weather mat, does NOT have holes in it?? Are you supposed to just cut the holes yourself?

I did, works fine that way, just dont cut too big a hole or you'll be pissed! Just big enough that you have to squeeze the mounting hook through.

What does the mounting hook look like for the all weather mat? Is it different than the one for the normal mats. Im going to my parts dept tommorow, but im sure they are not going to know what I am talking about.

The all-weather "hook" anchors for the drivers side screw into the same holes in your carpet that the carpeted velcro anchors screw into (its just a hole in the base carpet and they are supposed to be aligned for both types of mat. It's not a good idea to not anchor your mats as they can creep under the pedals. Putting them on top of carpetted mats is also not ideal as you'll increase the height from the floor (admittedly only 4-5 mm). You should be able to get a pair of hook anchors from your dealer (they owe you!). The passenger side rubber mat does not have the places for the holes. I was given four sets of hooks with my mats but I think that two are just spares as they probably lose their thread over time.

I got my set of rubber mats "free" from the dealer. I've swapped over to my summer tires but haven't changed my mats over yet

Tirana, Thanks, I will ask for hook anchors tommorow. Im going to a different dealer from where I bought my car. My allweather mat slides forward a tiny bit by the pedals. I too agree its not safe.
