Which liqui moly is the right oil for my engine?
I've a BMW E90 320D 2005 with dpf euro4 routfilter, its a EU BMW version.
I used always 5w30 and last time 2000km's ago I used liquimoly HIGHTEC (light blue) for the first time for my engine, after 2000km's driving i checked my oil level and it was in the middle, it is to much. My oil level went never so low so fast after 2000km driving. I have no leak or anything.

I don't know what the problem is, and I also don't know which liquimoly oil is exactly the right oil for my engine. Should I use 5w30 toptec 4600 or 4200 or other kind of liquimoly? Please help me here out to find the exact oil for my BMW E90 320D 2005 motor code M47.

Hi,

for your engine, click here

https://products.liqui-moly.com/olys...235f52a35e768e

to see all the approved oils from Liqui Moly (click engine).

I'm having an E90 320d N47D20A ('2008) DPF EURO4 and I used this time Liqui Moly Top Tec 4100 5W-40 LL-04 oil, after years of Castrol Edge Turbo Diesel 5W-40 use.

Oil consumption is less than 200ml per 15.000 Km oil change intervals, in my car.

Hope I helped.

Thought I would update this a bit-
I did an oil change with redline 5w-30 got it from performance improvements,
All I can say is wow - much smother idle - I have a single alumin. flywheel so sometimes my rpms drop really low almost to stall. - with this oil no such issue ever. Much better response feel.
This is my new goto oil on my 200,000 Kilometre N54, Cheers.

Edit: try it and let me know, made a fairly large difference from what I can tell, and no I do not work for them, I just care about our cars.
LOL.
