Suspension Upgrade - 08' 328xi

I recently picked up a 328xi and want some insight/opinions on upgrading the suspension.

What I want to accomplish:

-A little stiffer than stock suspension but not sacrificing ALL comfort
-A bit lower than stock (ideally F-1.5"/R-1" drop)

Am I better off getting springs/shocks or coilover?

Any input/pictures/insight is greatly appreciated!

Something like what was posted above should work really well for you. I know sometimes vendors can seem questionable, but these guys supply good info routinely on suspension info

I wouldn't go for coilovers unless you're willing to spend $2k plus for just the coilover setup and another $500+ for miscelanious parts.
