Some BMW drivers just keep the stereotype going...
(Disclaimer: this is more ranting than anything)
So today coming out of Fox Drive trying to merge onto Whitemud, the blonde woman driving a BMW X3 while talking on a cellphone and checking her makeup in the rearview mirror while tailgating me, cuts me and the car in front of me off almost causing a wreck. She drives away from the honking giving people the finger with the non-cell hand while cutting of 2 other cars. Exercise: count the number of stereotypes. What bugs me though is since I bought a BMW, some comments I've got is "oh so you're a bad driver now?" etc. That's a BMW stereotype but some people just don't give us a good name at all unfortunately. It's kind of sad actually. I guess with great (horse)power comes great responsibility. Some people just don't deserve to drive the BMW badge... |

I find it hard to accept a female driver giving other people the finger ...

I dont know, i've never come across a really bad Bmw driver...I find that Mustang drivers are usually the ones driving like assholes. It’s like they make it their mission to try and drag race everybody on the road...I'm guessing they are just overcompensating for the babydick that resides in their pants.

In Edmonton I think the guys in trucks are the worst. Esp the ones that are jacked up and ride on those stupid wannabe monster truck tires.
In my BMW, I find myself driving differently. I let people merge, even wave the occasional person into my lane if they are on a driveway. I guess even if I didn't drive a bimmer I should still drive like that but I really try my best to break the whole "douche bag" attitude.

Don't think it matters where in the world you are, it's gonna happen. It's not a BMW-driver thing; it's certainly not a woman-driver thing; it's a general douche-bag thing...

Funny thing is I have no issues with other drivers tailgating me and stuff, the only crap I have to put up with is ricers trying to race but I find that other BMW drivers are the most aggressive. Like for example, I had some 50 year old cock in an X5 last night tailgate me and cut me off for no apparent reason. When I pulled up beside him and his gf/wife/hooker at the lights and asked wtf his problem was he rolled up his windows and made a quick left turn.

Recently had a guy in an Escalade turn left in front of us on a red light.
He was talking on his cell phone and not paying attention... when we honked he motioned to us and pointed at his phone, as if to say... "Can't you see I'm on the phone.. don't make so much noise". Two days ago a lady was talking on her phone and ran a red light. The other traffic had already started to move and had to slam on their brakes. Funny thing is, a cop was two cars back from the green light and didn't even notice why the sudden stop. One driver was east asian male, the other was white female... both idiots... gender and race not a factor. |

To make matters worse, most of those GM vans I see out on the road don't seem to have a full set of working brake lights.
