HELP! M3 Replica bumper installed

Hey everyone,

I installed my M3rep this past weekend but had an issue with the underbelly side panels (not sure what else to call them). I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue. The only thing I can think of, is that my OEM bumper and underbody panels are Msport, so the design is slightly different which is why I have a gap on the corners.

Any ideas?

I have the regular E90 non M bumper and mine looks totally different than yours. I have the wheel well arch pieces that come all the way down to the bumper on both sides. The belly pan connect to the both arch pieces with two 8mm screws.

Where are your arch pieces?

I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say "arch pieces". I'm not missing any parts whatsoever. My OEM Msport bumper mates up with everything underneath.

Yes, this is the arch piece I was talking about. Mine is exactly like this one.

Hmmm... yeah mine is different. I'm attributing that to the fact that mine is an Msport. I wonder if I can buy that piece and swap - wonder if the mounting holes line up. So your dont have that gap at all on the corners? They mount right up to the bumper?

Yes, no gap. Every screw hole matches exactly.

Msport does have a different underbelly panel, so that would be the problem if I had to guess. (at least I know it is for the E92)

Yeah I know my main underbelly tray is different, wasn't sure about the sides! Does anyone know if I can swap the wheel well piece on both sides?

The M3 rep for the E90 is made to fit Non M Sport E90's. So basically to make it fit properly on your M Sport car, you would have to change the wheel liners, underbelly, etc to Non M Sport first then put the M3 rep on. Only the E90 has this issue, E92 m3 rep doesn't have any problems whether M Sport or not.

Damnit! I wish I knew this beforehand! Ugh so annoying.
