Which Camcorder?
My present camcorder uses mini tapes, which was great 8 years ago....... so I need a new one, maximum budget £200(which should buy something decent).
It will be used for filming the kids, and be compact enough to hand hold when boarding. I'm presuming a hard drive or memory stick is the way to go? Thanks in advance PS - Oh and I will need to be able to buy it before the weekend, as I'm away on Monday!

I bought one of these recently:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-Ca...6406380&sr=1-1 Over your budget, but the quality is astounding. It's also tiny, but has 25x optical zoom and great battery life. I initially bought a £200 JVC hard disc one to replace my old miniDV camcorder. The image quality was very poor, especially on movement shots (e.g. kids running about in the garden. The battery went flat really quickly as well, so you always had to charge it when you wanted to use it. The Panasonic is well worth the extra. |
