its funny you say that....b/c guess who I saw/talked to this morning....Tim...the car is super nice.

I know recently we have some slow down in here b/c of one thing or another, but lets try to pick this back up. I know some of you guys are in school and trying to finish the semester...so maybe we could do a meet or something. Maybe within the next few weeks or something.

Yeah man, saw you whiz on by just as I drove up. Instead of trying to take weight off the car, I was trying to take some off of the driver instead

We need to go for a drive. Clayton can lead the way. I always want to go drive those roads, but I'm just not adventurous enough to do it by myself.

I would, but I'm going to the beach Sunday morning for some much needed vacation time. I'm not taking summer classes this year and I'm only volunteering 4 days a week, so I'll have plenty of free time to go drive. I'm having a new clutch put in while im gone, so its going to need to be broken in before I head to the track.

Ah, didn't realize the weather was shit. How long has it been pouring? If a couple days, we'll have to skip it. Too much debris in the roads to be worry about.

Yep, bimmerworld strapless clutch and flywheel. Should be a fun combo. I'll let you take her for a spin.

Sucks the weather is horrible and there is debris everywhere. It's been raining for like 15 hours. Otherwise i'd be down. I finish tomorrow and am headed to Atlanta next week.

I might be back for the summertime however. I can intern in Atlanta and pick up one class, or knock out 2 or 3 here, take advantage of my rent i'm paying anyway and cruise with 3 classes for my last semester

Who is down for meeting on the 25th of this month for breakfast or lunch and then a nice drive to some twisty roads? Alternatively, we could meet, drive, then eat.

That is clearly the best option. Still not sure if I should take a class yet. A break might be a good thing for me.

Well, in that case, fuck it. Let's go for a quick one. One road (the best one) is a lot more open and less likely to have shit covering it.

I'm in my cousin's wedding that weekend in Texas.

A suggestion, if you don't mind. Early morning run to the roads I've mentioned to you before; then, lunch at a relatively nice restaurant (Magnolia Cafe, if my memory serves) in St. Francisville that is on the way back to BR. This is essentially what I've done the past few trips I've made, and it makes for a great day.

You... you read my mind. That is exactly where I ate last time I went to St. Francisvile and their grilled shrimp poboys are amazing. Maybe June 1st then? I'm assuming no one wants to go during the week since all you old guys have jobs

Man, I really want to go. I would gladly postpone the beach for one day to drive the M3 around. I've been itching for it all semester, but my schedule kept me from living.

That's the one. I like the feel of the place, and that poboy is indeed delicious. Grilled > fried, when it comes to shrimp poboys.

Do it.

EDIT: Is the car already at the shop? Have someone drop it off for you later, if not.

No, its not, but I'm not the one driving to the beach, so I can't really push it back. Too bad it rained today, I was looking forward to taking her out.

Gotcha, Grant.

Stu, will do. I just landed at DFW and have a 3 hour layover for the flight to BR. Assuming this jet lag doesn't screw with me tomorrow, I'll be up for it.

My car has some rattles but it's ready to bomb around some roads if the weather permits

Edit: Not even opposed to slightly damp roads teHE
