Headlight bulb retaining clip

Somehow, I have lost my headlight bulb retaining clip. As a result, my bulb keeps busting or pointing straight down at the road. I have searched locally at body shops, BMW dealership (the only option BMW offered was a new headlamp unit) and the all over the internet, but still can not find one. Does anyone know where I can purchase one or does anyone have an extra one laying around I can purchase. Thanks.

What year? Does it have HID bulbs or normal halogen? Which side? Please elaborate.

Halogen. The clip that holds the bulb in place.

Again, what year is your car? I didn't see a clip for 2006-2008 models, but if you have a 2008-2011 model, which one do you need?

This is for the low beam, part # 63127246480:

High beam # 63126924671:

Note: You can also call your local dealership to see if they have the aforementioned part number.

May not be exact fit but you can bend them.

If you could also find a wire of similar radius you could bend your own to the same shape as the other one you already have and that would also work.
The other option is getting a used headlight assembly from junkyard.
