1) to determine that you need ANY bulb in Rear Lights? 2) Which Bulb is NOT lighting when/as it should? 3) Is the lighting malfunction intermittent or constant? If indeed there is a Brake Light Issue, according to Bentley, there are TWO brake lights on either side, ONE on the trunk lid (Inner/Center), and the OTHER on the Fender (Outer/Sides). Center/Trunk Lid Brake Light is LED Side/Fender Brake Light is W16w Bulb charts (Bentley) for (a) E90 & E91 & (b) E92 & E93 (yours) are attached George |

gbalthrop Thanks for the images.
1. My rear left brake lights don't turn on at all. 2. Its the 2 brake lights on the left side. To be more specific, the two leftmost bulbs here: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-1...uine-bmw-part/ 3. Constant. It just doesnt turn on. Any idea where I can find this W16w bulb. Im having trouble locating these on part websites. They all look different from the one in my links. |

just Google w16w = you'll get lots of hits. That's why I suggested the 921
https://www.google.com/search?q=w16w...hrome&ie=UTF-8 But having both bulbs burn out.....? not impossible, but unusual at least. I'd consider swapping bulbs from left rear to right rear to see that it was the bulb that was bad and not the socket

pedro2u - I'm actually unable to remove the bulbs from this: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-1...uine-bmw-part/
Are they actually removable? I pulled it quite a bit but it won't come off. I'm afraid that I will break it. |
