E90 Not Starting/Hand Saw Sound
Hey Guys,
I'm new here. This morning when I tried to start my car, it made a sound like a hand saw, and the car failed to start. I posted this earlier on another BMW forum and I wanted to see if you guys have any other opinions on diagnosing/repairing: https://vimeo.com/346146352 A little bit of details: It has over 160k miles, it generally runs very well (I use it for my long work commute) and I've only had to change maybe five things since I got the car a couple of years ago. To be honest, that sounds like the starter simply isn't engaging the flywheel.
