$5 Dyno Numbers

If anyone has logs and wants to find out how much power their car makes text me (408) 637-8662 and I can let you know.

All I need is your cars info and a log from MHD/JB4/Bootmod etc.

I paid $10 but I got you guys for $5.

Just text the above number or DM my Instagram @sj335i.

I did this on my car and had it on an actual dyno, it's very accurate.

You're charging $5 for a one time log dyno when they can buy the app for $10 and get unlimited log dynos?

Better off buying the app so you can see the delta between mods.

I'll pay you $5 to never post this crap again.

Honestly if you offered it for $1 maybe someone would pay?

No one gives an F what a virtual dyno says in all reality. It is useless. Same with mustang, dynodynamics, etc. Dynojet or nothing.

Meh, I guess it depends on if you understand how it works. I think it's funny you dismiss a virtual, but like dynojets, when they use the exact same methodology for calculating horsepower,vs a mustang that measures torque.

There's a new app out called Log Dyno for Android. It uses MHD logs to calculate HP & Torque.

I have it and have used it. It says I'm around 433 hp & 430 torque. I'm running MHD stage 2+ and xHp trans stage 2.

Please go on. You are saying it will spit out identical numbers to a dynojet?

The ones I saw for the n54 look nothing like a dynojet graph. Granted i have only seen around 6 of them. All looked jankey.

https://www.***********.com/attachme...8&d=1314971463

As an example. That is not what an n54 dyno looks like.

Can't tell what site that is due to the forum gestapo. There's 2 main things to remember - you cannot use a datalog from a dyno pull and expect the same numbers unless you modify the weight, because you aren't accelerating the car - you're accelerating a drum of a specific weight.

Most roads have at least some incline or decline and that can sway the graph, as does wheelspin on street pulls.

As with anything computer related, the GIGO principle applies. Most people get bad numbers because they input bad data. The more detailed and accurate the data, the more accurate the result.

/\ +1

Virtual dyno's can be pretty accurate if done properly, ie; flat or almost flat and also smooth road, proper info input into vdyno, and a proper pull.

Garbage in garbage out but as long as your garbage in isn't too far off and is consistent then you'll directionally see at least if your changes were positive or negative.

And lol at "I got you guys for $5"

Are you saying is a real dynojet is much more useful and better comparison than a Vdyno on your phone because of all the variables and GIGO? So a Vdyno is not very useful other than seeing if you made more or less power as you can't compare it to another person's Vdyno because of all the variables unlike a dynojet which allows direct comparisons?
