^^ Agree -- this is nice but its missing a certain controversial pizzaz I miss from Bangle. His designs were art.

I'm confused, the 6 was a two door 5 series -- then whats this? And how the heck is it any different than the incoming 5 series? Things are getting too confusing -- I understood the X6 and even the 5GT but now a slightly coup-ish 4 door 6 series thats kinda but not really a 5 series? Really?

Looks really nice.

Question about the actual car itself: how much car is actually under there? The windows are blacked out and the body has scratches all over it like it's molded plastic - not paint/clear coat. Just a body mock-up floating on wheels? or a fully functional ride?

beautiful design. the future of BMW looks fantastic with the new 7, F10 5 series, and now this. after seeing these cars i think its safe to say that the next 3 (F30) will be a stunning drivers car.
now, even though its got four doors, is this going to be the new 6?

Absolute the car is functional. BMW just keep windows fully tinted in all concept cars. Seen them all alive and extremely close-up during the last years this GC seems to follow same path.

The price lists, optional lists and full details all already available at BMW AG, believe me.

I hope Gran Coupe comes also with xDrive for us living in north. CAR magazine says the engines start from 4-cylinder ones, 625i and so on...

I miss bangle too. It needs a bit of controversy this design while is generally good(except for the rear), it's too much like the 5 series or 7 series. I don't feel like bmw is a rebel child anymore. Don't get me wrong, i'd still buy their cars, but BMW wanted to avoid the audi syndrome where all their cars were the same sausage design but just in different sizes and this ....well its a just a squashed 5 series and it's happening again.

I like it but

I have to say i think on the whole this is a great design but i have a few big gripes, firstly why couldnt the 5 series be like this? some reviews ive been reading are saying the 5 series has become less driver orientated which i think is wrong and am i meant to assume that this will be taking the place design and more so dynamically of what the 5 series used to and should be.

As well as this i do not think it looks as 4 door coupe like as the cls passat cc etc the roof seems too high.

My last and biggest gripe is everytime i look at the CS concept i feel so depressed that BMW has such a beautiful and amazing design, which i feel should of been produced, and in my opinion is much better than this.

I love BMW's but had to register because i feel so strongly about this.

Personally, I think this is a great design - agree with previous poster about the plunger roundel at the back (not so good BMW!). Otherwise, Great design!
