spoke to a representative from Vibrant Performance and told them what I experienced with the resonators and was told its not normal, but he has heard of this happening....Dino (the rep) atold me if it continues to show that the packing material blown out of the exhaust, then they will get me a new set and pay for installation!! So far a whole day of driving the car and nothing...No lint like material at all....I will keep you posted....but one thing I have to say...I love my exhaust note being totally catless, sounds mean with ZERO RASP but deep throaty note!!
Smell is still there and seems not as strong, but then again I may have gotten use to it! I have a video to post up soon! |

Here is the video for you Wysbert...Cold startup (24 DEGREES OUTSIDE)...Before the resonators, the car would SCREAM....I cringed when I had to start it up because it was so damn loud, I was scared to wake up the next door neighbors new born baby!....Windows inside my house would rattle....After installing them its very TAME!
BTW...white smoke from tails is because its so god damn cold outside!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is the link: CPE catback exhaust, AR Design catless Dps, and Vibrant resonators (1792)....Not the best audio video but its the best I can do being that its so cold outside! I should have backed the car out of the garage to get the true sense of how loud it is... Last edited by cn555ic; 01-06-2010 at 06:41 PM.. |

Sounds great! Thanks for sharing. Mine sounds similar, but I still have stock dp's. Must get these to keep mine tame. I know it will just get louder without the dp's.

Its actually quite tame....if you go catless without these resonators, believe me, on a cold startup it would be 10 times louder than my video showed...I am not joking...I wish I could have taken a video of it first without resonators, but that can't happen now....I will get a video of it revving tonight |

LOL wake the dead!!! Yeah that first few seconds I cringe when it started up especially in a boxed garage with just the door of the garage opened...Everything echos back and the things hanging in the garage was vibrating and making a wonderful chorus of musical tools!!!
