Very exciting race for the most part. The battle between Charles and Max was incredible. Tough break for Max and questionable strategy from Ferrari again.

I like the Ferrari team but I think the Vettel experiment needs to come to a close.

From the Austrian GP...

LeClerc: MAX just pushed me at the corner.

Vettel: Don't worry Charles.. Just do your job, I'll take care of him at Silverstone .

ah if he keeps this great form and attitude, ferrari will have to consider their priorities with Vet destroying his races frequently

Post preseason testing: Vettel and Ferrari look like the quickest car.

Post Silverstone: Vettel is 100 championship points behind Lewis.

Pretty good race for the first half or so, last part was snooze city as usual.

If there wasn't before, there should be some genuine concern for Vettel now. The constant errors he's making being a 4 time champ are amazing. What happened today was about the most glaring mistake I've seen from him, he straight up rammed Max.

I have been saying this for some time now, he needs to go. Anywhere to but an F1 car.

His much younger team mate showed how you should properly race, and over take a car.

What a race. Silverstone is a great track. I'm pretty sure that is part of the reason for the action.

I'm 50/50 on the VET/VER incident. VET tried to go left right at the end but had no where to go. I will say when VET was with RedBull, he only really did well when he led from the pole position. which is one of the reason why I don't think he's in the same league as LH - VET can deal with the pressure of traffic. LH defended VET though. Goes to show the Lewis is all class and is the best.

Some of the conspiracy guys are saying that the crash was payback for Austria, I think it's payback for China last year.

hoping to see a 4 way battle in the next race.

50/50 on the VET/VER incident ? Man are you kidding ?
MAX had to brake because he had a sharp turn coming in front of him .
VET was thinking too late (lack of concentration) of that turn . And so he braked too late , and he was not thinking he was under MAX tail , so he had also lack of downforce on his front wing that's why his smoking brakes locked up . The result of it was clear for all of us ..Every F1 driver has to think of this in advance .

But he didn't , that's why it's 100% VET's fault !
VET f@cked it up again like he did the whole season . Remember Charles drives with the same Ferrari . Charles drove a real race just like MAX did .
With MAX and Charles we can finally watch a real race again , but VET decided something else ...

Finally some proper racing across the field!
Definitely Vettel's fault and he took full responsibility already.
It is up to the driver's behind to judge the amount of downforce loss and knowing both approaching the corner in an acute angle. Braking point will be much earlier than usual.
It is Baku 2018 all over again.

seems like Red Bull broke the world record of fastest pit stop by 0.01.. 1.91 changing 4 tires and go..

and this a bonus from DR.. this joke wasnt particularly nice but still its nice to see some people doing stupid things in paddock..

Am I the only one that thinks Max was way off line when VET ran into him? No VET fan and he deserved the penalty, but Max continues to drive VERY wide car. Similar to teammate RIC running into VER at Baku. He has the right to “cover” the corner, but don’t expect everyone to anticipate that.
I'm a Vettel fan, but I give 100% responsibility to Vettel. Max only made one defensive move as far as I saw. I do think the Baku incident was on Max though. He seemed to make two moves in that one.

The slight difference between Silverstone 2019 and Baku 2018 was that back in Baku, Max and Daniel are still fighting left and right for the corner. Where as Silverstone, Overtake was completed and Max stuck with his inside and somehow vettel wanted to "sneak" inside where as only half or less car length gap. Surprised to see a four time world champ not going to outside and take the next corner's inside apex like LeClerc did.
