Bmw 128i 328i 528i 330i 325i N52 exhaust muscle throaty sound

On my quest to find an exhaust for my e92 328i that didn't sound like a nissan vq trombone or a honda flatulence, I've encountered the following setups:

128i with mostly straight pipe just the cats on the exhaust manifold and a flowmaster muffler (unknown which, if you have any idea what muffler, chime in below)

Z4 3.0si supersprint headers, 1794 resonators and a flowmaster delta 40 muffler.

Wondering If anyone here has any similar sounding setups and would like to share what they're composed of, drone levels, etc. I think these really make the inine 6 sound like a bigger engine, especially the exhaust on that 1 series.

The SS/AA/Roundelwerk/JKVK/Whoever wants to rip off SS today headers will definitely be a major component in good sounding exhaust. I've gotten nothing but compliments on mine. I have AA headers.

•AA headers + muffler delete: sounds great, loud as fuck, not a fan
•AA headers + muffler delete + Vibrant bottle resonator where the muffler was: sounds great, droned like crazy at 2-2.5k RPM, hated dailying the car with it
•AA headers + muffler delete + muffler from my roommates 392 Scatpack Charger: sounds great, fairly quiet but still sport, love it. Silent on the highway, very appropriate volume for the car. (CURRENT SETUP)

I am more on the conservative side when it comes to exhaust noise. If it gives me a headache or makes people turn their heads when I'm just cruising, it's way too loud.

The BMW PE exhaust is about as good as it gets for both the 328 and 335i

Don't mix VQ30DE and VQ35DE.

the first vid sound like a VQ30DE. Also VQ30 are known to sound like porsche h6 @ low rpm; cheap rattle sound.

VQ35De are totally an other story, nissan put ton of cash for sound r&d. On car forums, VR6 and VQ35DE/VQ35HR are always top 2 for best sounding commercial V6s.

imo the best sound in any built will require :
- straight muffler with acoustic wool
- huge resonator (20 to 24'' long)
- calculated helmholtz resonator
