Compatiable Bumpers?? (Floor mats to?)
Hey all been playing around with the idea of a 1m bumper, some may know im in the works of pulling the Active Cruise Control aswell... but i want to consider bumpers with keeping the Active Cruise Control in case i can't work out how to code it out and rid of it without error codes on the dash.
now ive read on the forums about different bumpers, different ducts, and fitment etc. What bumpers provide best fitment with minimal work (with active cruise control module available?) ive seen them on American based sites, but i can't seem to find none here in Australia anyone had any experience with mars performance fitment? im presuming m tech bumper would be easiest for me, as it requires the least modding. (also aftermarket bars are generally going to be different them oem, if i was to buy an mtech can i use the grill surround from bmwoem to fit my ACC?) can someone who has an idea of variations of bumpers give me a detailed approach? i got money burning a hole in my pocket, ive played around with the idea of this 1m bumper. Also i want some decent floor mats for mine, mine have seen better days, seen on the forums the new OEM 2 series performance ones work in e92 floor pans, they look nice but fortunately can only find them in LHD Last edited by MMM335; 08-26-2016 at 07:12 AM.. |

I love my 1M bumper, it's not perfect, but it's good enough for me if you want an aggressive look, and need to be low to pull it off. Where are you planning to pick one up from?
The msport and m3 bumpers are probably a better fit and finish all round though. I believe eurodivision stock these with the vents/grilles etc. They are a safer bet. |

How'd you go doing the vents?? or does it vent to original, also i wonder how my ACC will go in the front of it, apparently it will sit behind the mesh i am hoping, if not ill have to find a clean way to expose the lens.

whatever you do, do NOT buy one from Vicrez in the US. Better off buying from a Taiwanese or Chinese seller on alibaba/aliexpress. Won't be cheap, but not many of these around in Australia

I'm installing a KBD 1M bumper and M6 LED Fogs. I'll let you know. Late September. And floor mats I highly recommend Lloyds. Best out there, perfect fit, and way better than oem.

Just get rid of the active cruise, it's bloody disgusting and not needed anyway!!
Shouldn't have any issues coding out as it's an accessory, if you can code out seat belt warnings, this will be a walk in the park. |

Not on the bmw. I did on my grand Cherokee. Hated it. Made me follow way to far back and constantly was breaking when unnecessary. I had to disengage it every time I got in. Worthless option. Auto high beams though. They rocked.

My gf just bought a brand new Q5 and it has active cruise. I was blown away with how accurate and smooth it is, 10/10 marks absolutely seamless. BMW obviously has some work to do there.

Auto high beam works so well, it can see a red tail light like 300m up the road at night, it's so accurate
