Agree. Get the exhaust first then decide later on if you still want the intake.

+2 on the exhaust. I had a injen intake for a wk and sold it since it isn't what i expected in terms of sound. The tone is just like the stock sound, but with a slightly louder pitch.

These videos of the exhausts soud def seal the deal on this nice piece.

Looks like the external mic I used picked up the sound pretty well.

I have a few more video shoots in mind but I need a good/safe/legal place to do it. I want to do the straight pull away with the video/mic behind and shifting at around 5K. Anyone knows any place like that in NJ or NY?

I shoot some 20mins of video last Sunday doing ramp entries and highway driving but I didn't realize that my sun roof was raised. My video/mic was setup right beneath it so the video sound was ruined. I'll re-shoot it some other time.

Not too fast really. I'm just looking for a safe open place to avoid injury and risk of getting ticketed/arrested. This thing is loud so even if we are not running fast we will still sound fast.

And maybe we can do it once you're performance exhaust is installed.

Do you plan to run a dyno on your car to see what the performance gain is?

You should get the exhaust now while it is $1004 shipped, rather then later when it goes back to $1085 shipped + possible price increase beyond Feb 1st 09.

Not at all. I paid $150 for the install from an independent shop. The actual install time took about an hour.

+1. You guys are lucky. I got mine for $1155 and this was with the intake combo less than 4 weeks ago. Jason and Evan are ignoring my post/pm about a GB price reduction/match for my order LOL. So get it now guys!

To those of you with this exhaust.....

Did you guys get a chance to hear the exhaust note of a 135/335i before you got this? If so were you feeling a bit down because of the quietness on the 128/328/330i? This was the biggest setback, since I test drove the 135i before the 328i when I bought my car.
