Cool! If I was gonna get a 335iS I'd definitely get the DCT. Seems to be one of the big benefits in getting one. Not sure if they come with an LSD or not (that would be the other reason!).

Another cross-country trip in the making or did you find one locally?

i got out there very late since i was at the gca the night before in mobile, it was between 1-2 when i arrived and at that point i was staving so we got some food from across the street and i might have been there for another 45 min before i took off. i was able to walk by a few 335's but i was still exhausted from the day before.

As you know, I love my Is with its sunroof delete, six driving modes, launch control, 7 gear DCT and twin turbos. ..was going to go for a SC M3 but I really think I am keeping the Is. An ECU tune , DCI, DP and maybe a new IC and I can beat 97% of the cars on the road. Yet people still want to play with you which makes it fun. Not so if I was in a Ferrari, or Porsche, or C6 ...they'll just back down and ignore you. Besides, how much car can you handle for daily driving? Germans know a thing about class and style so don't rice yours up. Now I have to ask...Why did you not get the Is in the first place?

Because I thought the N55 engine was better... I was quick to learn that I was wrong and now that I know better, I need an N54.

OK, so I'm a bit intrigued now... While I love my 8400RPM goddess of an engine, what makes the N54 the better engine compared to the N55? Just a general question...

The N55 will never be what the N54 is capable of.
