canbus 0x1A6 decoding

So I'm fairly new to the can bus stuff but I'm trying to get the current vehicle speed from the same place the gauge cluster (0x1A6) and I have managed to make a mask so I can see only the 1A6 messages (I'm using an Arduino with a mcp2515) but now I have to decode the speed from the HEX (ID: 1A6 Data: 35 01 35 01 34 01 00 F6 for example) and I've found this really helpful site https://loopybunny.co.uk/CarPC/can/1A6.html but unfortunately it's more focused on controlling the gauge cluster as oppose to obtaining the speed from the computer and I can't wrap my head around how I should do it...

Doesn't help that I'm not very good at c++ either

any help is greatly appreciated!
