AHL/SMC module
One of my AHL modules needs to be replaced. I have seen on eBay some unbranded modules in the range of $50-$70. Have anyone bought one of these and been successfully able to code them? I understand that I can also purchase an oem used one, but it would require resetting it first by coding it to my vin before I could code it properly to work on my car.

I bought an unbranded smc unit for my E87 some weeks ago. They look different on E87, but the board inside are probably similar.
I had no problem coding it and it works fine.
