Look what I found!!! Someone should try this on our n52's. Create a billet or 3d printed valvetronic locking part.

Why?

The valvetronic actually works very well, why delete it?

Watching the video, I'm pretty sure the adaptor keeps the valvetronic to full open vs full close. This is not a delete, leaving the valvetronic useless. Am I missing something here? Forgive my ignorance.

Would be handy if you wanted to use an N52 without BMW's engine management.

Say, swapping it into a lotus 7 or an e36 or something. Just throw on a cable operated throttle and a megasquirt.

No idea how to handle the cam phasing though.

Again, unless you are building a race car there is no point.

A good tuner can do just about anything with the standard DME,

You will not make any more power locking the valvetronic open.

Pretty sure this is a workaround for the n62 which does have some valvetronic issues. No point for this for the n52 unless you go with individual throttle bodies otherwise the engine will probably run worse and make less power
