Hello, I'm hoping someone might have some experience, or be able to point me in the right direction with a problem that started yesterday.
I was driving my 2007 320d e92 yesterday and went to overtake a car on the motorway, the car pulled fine, up until 3,000 rpm then the "power cut out" and there was no acceleration at all. The problem has been constant ever since, the point where the power cuts out seems to vary between 3,000 rpm and 3,500 rpm and happens in every gear. Apart from this the car is running fine, pulls normally, and drives as it should up until that point, no fault lights or anything either? Hoping someone can help? Thanks. |

I recently had this problem, tried lots of different sensors, diagnostics, premium fuel, new turbo etc. Plugged the car in to a new diagnostic system last week and did a standard 'erase all codes' and the problem is gone. Must have been a historic fault code that was throwing the car in to limp mode over 3k rpm
