JB4 CEL in low rpmīs
Anybody have similar problem? Tried to search but didnīt found anything
JB4 equiped car ("07 335i) throw CELīs when WOT from low rpms, in middle or high thatīs ok. It do just on map 1 or 2, on map 0 everything is ok. Car throw this codes: 2AAF Fuel pump, plausibility 30FF Boost under target -- possible boost leak 3100 low boost mode engaged -- CEL displayed Terry told me that it is caused probably with boost leak, which was refused in BMW Service Munchen (they say that if that is leak it will do the same in stock map as well), but they wonīt search for problem cause in stock map it is ok.. I used to have JBīs for more then year and everything was fine till now car also have BMS DCI.. Anybody..?( |

Sometimes a boost leak doesn't become apparent at low (stock) boost but becomes a problem under high boost. Check your charge pipe and your diverter valves. The diverter valves may be loose enough to cause a boost leak under higher boost values.

What is PIM?
I will try another BMW service, here they wanted 400 Euro just to check what is causing the rattling under the car and was not able to at least fix broken bulb Also the car is strangly rattling, should it have something to do with that CELīs? One rattle exactly like this - after cold start from left exhaust.. And another when dropping RPMīs from about 2.000 rpm to idle - is it wastegate rattle? There may be leak too, no? Exactly like this.. Last edited by Martyn335Ci; 07-19-2011 at 03:31 AM.. |
