F30: Alpine White or Estoril Blue?
Folks
Was thinking of trading my E90 330i auto saloon in for an F30 320d. Actually reckon I will go for a 330d now. Have seen a couple of available cars with good specs, and wondering whether, long term, I'd be better with Alpine White or Estoril Blue. I always fancied the Estoril, but you see a lot of them around and they're maybe a tiny bit wide boy-ish? So, what do you think is the better colour for an F30 saloon? Which colour do you reckon I'd end up regretting? All thoughts welcome... |

Estroil blue is too common on the new 3/4 Series, I personally prefer white which suits the f30 well, Grey looks great too
Need the performance body styling kit and larger alloys to make it look good, get HK audio, pro navigation and adaptive suspension for sure

Neither
E Blue is too common and White is a horrible (non)colour.

My preference is for 18 inch alloys, based on my experiences of driving E90 models with 18s and 19s. The 19s look great, but they ruin the ride. Having not had satnav before, I believe it's worth having the pro nav. I'd also prefer a car with adaptive suspension but these are hard to come by. Does anybody know what model/spec you need to get the standard upgraded hi-fi (what used to be called 'professional')? Last edited by FieldingMellish; 01-10-2017 at 03:40 AM.. |

Because Black makes the interior really dark, dull and boring.

Well, at least you don't want a grey interior heh.
I find black a bit boring too. But then I wanted a black car so went for a red interior. Everyone that gets it in says they love it. Whether they're telling the truth or not, I don't know heh. Black on black would have been a bit too much. A white interior can look great in the right car. Same with the right grey too actually. IMO, EB with a black interior is a bit boring. Looks great with a light interior. So if you're set on black, I'd go AW. Better re sale value I think too. |

Just to clarify: I like both the Alpine White and the Estoril Blue. But I worry that I might get sick of the Estoril after a while. I think white works very well on 3 Series models. I currently have a silver 330i and would go for silver again but fancy a change.
