How to activate headlights adjustment scroller?
I have an '05 E90 Pre-LCI with halogen headlights and it has the little headlights adjustment scroller at the light switch which works just fine.
Then, I retrofitted the LCI xenon headlights into it, do the wiring, add $522 to the VO and default code the FRM. The headlights work perfectly but, instead, the adjustment scroller just stops working. I knew that normally LCI xenon headlights would come with an adaptive headlights function, which my car doesn't have it. The question is how do I tell the FRM that the car doesn't have a leveling sensor part but the beam can be adjusted manually with the scroller? Which VO code do I have to add or delete to make the scroller works again? P.s. I can't delete $522 since it will cause the flickering and I'm not sure whether $524 (adaptive headlights) automatically got into my VO when I add $522. I might have to check it again. |
