Exclamation Bmw f80/82 m3/4 brakes on e90 335i brackets

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds

USD 260.00

Hi
My F80/82 M3/4 FULL Brake kit swap project to our E90 stock suspension is finished and passed all tests. I designed and manufactured brackets to fit Full M3 kit (calipers and M3/4 Floated brake discs 380mm front and 370mm rear) to our E90. It is not straight swap it still involves to push caliper bushes and press new ones, cut dust shields front and back and involves a drilling, taping and grinding on rear hub which won't affect OEM caliper fitment. I already sold couple brackets to car entuasist in UK and Germany, so they passed all road test. More pictures coming
For more information leave comment or PM.
Thank you

Mind posting a picture of how the "shaved" rear spindle (knuckle) looks like?
Also, i think it should be mention here that minimum size front wheels will have to be 19"!?

Thanks for questions.
I tried to test fit this brakes on 18", I know for sure MV3 too small but on m260(cant remember correct number, M3 e92 18") front ones was just a bit catching, so if you find correct style 18" it may fit, because M3 F80 have 18" alloy option.

Shaving, basically you shave a bit of material around lugs. Nothing big, just to make more flat surface so bracket sits perfectly flat.

E90 RWD? Would it fit an Xi? Assuming it wouldn't work on an M3?

This is a complete game changer. The rotors from the f80/f82 aesthetically are night and day more attractive than the one's that come from the f30 msport kit, in addition to the additional size you are getting in the front and rear.

Woohoo to continued progression and development on this platform.

probably won't fit because m3 hubs are different, but really don't know how big difference between m3 e9x brakes and 335i.

it shut fit XI, I can't see any reason why it won't fit... you have exactly same brakes like all 335i so hubs shut be same.

i figured as much. i already source the f80 m3 front and rear set. There is a post on m3 forum that talk about. I just bought left and right spindle, hubn nuckle set from f80. going to swap them out and then put the f80 brake set. Thanks for the info.

i know ECS sell the bracket for the m4 ceramic kit for e9x m3. I called ecs and inquire about the bracket. they say only fit 6 piston ceramic.

thank you for confirming me. i was hoping your kit work on m3..oh well. bummer for me.

F80 hubs are same like m3 9x? I though they have a bit different suspension.
I could design and make adapters for you aswell if I knowed difference.

For carbon ceramics brackets not the problem but price for ceramic discs.

i think the spindle is the only thing i need but to make life easier, i got the whole set (spindle, knuckle, etc.) i think the only part i need is 31212284002 and 31212284001 but if i get that part alone, that mean i have to remove everything else and just putting that part. I got the whole set on fleebay for right and left. Below is link to fleebay and i bought right and left. The rear for m3, i just need two washers and fit perfectly.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Right...oAAOSw6D9dOfep

Here link that discuss about e9x m3 using f80 brakes. if you can design the bracket for it, man it save a lot of headache. My issue is that i bought it from fleebay already. If you can design the bracket then there no need to adjust the speed sensor. Base on the thread below, i have revert the speed sensor to 180 degree.

Cost for just the front kit?

Would like something with cheaper rotor swaps vs the Stoptech setup I have now.

Cheers,
Spencer
