e91 LCI 335i winter wheels
All,
Finally got round to fitting my winter wheels to my trusty beemer ahead of a trip to the alps. Wheels OEM M3 18" 270M + Conti wintercontacts 225/40/18 non-RFT. As you can see, swapping the wheels over took priority over weeding the garden and block paved drive !!!!!! Any advice on best tyre pressures would be appreciated [partially and fully loaded]. Thanks in advance, Pave |

I was going to say that it's a bit late for winter wheels but if you're off to the alps.
Re: tyre pressures, do you not have a sticker on the inside of your drivers door? |

Thanks, they do look good and squat c/w OEM M3 c/w Birds B3S suspension goodies. The rims are OEM M3 winter set ie square all round at 8" wide c/w and offset of 20mm. Cheers, Dave |

That explains the nice look.
My winters are 8x18 all round, but on an non-M3 offset of ET35, so they sit in the arch a bit at the rear. Good work. Enjoy the trip to the Alps, where you off to? |

Hi all,
Just back from the trip to the slopes in the French alps. Big thumbs up for the conti winter contacts. Car behaved impeccably but just one niggle, slight rub on front arches so bit gutted. Not sure what to do, my options are: Put more camber on the front - not that keen as the car handles great and tracks true as is and wear is still uniform; Put some different tyres upfront - 225/40/18 square setup just now so any advice welcome; Remove tyres and sell the M3 wheels and start again - last resort for me; Change front wheels to another similar design with an easier offset - was thinking abt F10 350m 18" ??? Comments advice most welcome. Even full loaded, rears were fine and fill the arches v nicely....... Look fwd to some feedback from you guys. Dave |
