Suspension drop

I have an E09 330D LCI M Sport and would like to fit aftermarket sports suspension. I am leaning towards bilstein and potentially coilovers (Bilstein B14 PSS). The kit states they have a drop of between 30-50mm and would like to know if that would be too much? I do not want rubbing and currently run 18" wheels but will probably go for 19" at some point in the future.

Is anybody driving the same set up or recommend an alternative which wouldn't cause rubbing (I don't want to be paying more that around £800 ideally)

Coilovers aren't a must. I have read that Koni often rust and not as durable as the bilstein?
