The point of adjustable dampers is you can change them. Ride height, springs, shocks. What one person considers stiff another might not. Did you drop too low so you scrap your strong lip on the driveway every day? You can set them at soft for DD and then adjust all 4 in 5 minutes and stiffen them up for a track day, autoX, or just to drive on your favorite twisties.

Ohlins are not the cheapest coilovers but you can easily spend 4x that if you want a real track set up. Probably one of the better road and track set ups out there assuming you fix their spring rates which are 100% wrong for the e9X chassis.

If you trust the manufacturer to have set the ride height, stiffness of dampeners, and the correct spring rates etc. and never want to touch it then get a none adjustable set. Personally, the cost of a quality none adjustable set is close enough that I would get KWs V1/Fortune Autos and be able to adjust height, springs, shocks etc.

As with most things in life you get what you pay for. Best of luck with whatever set up you choose to go with.

Your rears are not installed correctly btw. I just did mine, the top black perch or whatever you call has to be removed. Even says it in the bilstein Manual... with that said the install sucked bad! But I will say this is the best riding set of coilovers I have ever installed on any of my cars. The ride is basically stock msport ride. No bounce or anything.

Thanks! good catch. I was under the impression that it was referring the bushing. Good news is it won't take long to get it out.

So funny story, I've driven it maybe 5 miles. I have tons of stuff to do over the past year and have other things to do to it, so basically haven't driven it in a year.

Ok I would volunteer to drive your car and test the suspension. I also promise to provide honest review.

Haha! I appreciate the help, but I gotta do some work on it. Which is why I haven't driven it. While it as my DD, we have an extra vehicle I've been driving, so all the other stuff is taking Precedent.

B14 are height adjustable coil overs. B12 is what they call a cup kit and is standard struts/shocks that are paired with springs that will lower your car, but are not adjustable.

Probably coupe, sedan and convertible. That may require a phone call to the vendor for more clarification.
