UGA on the right side of luck in so many ways. OSU was clearly the better team.

So many calls went the lucky way of UGA. Knocking out Marvin Harrison Jr was huge. Rest of the teams are all limping to the finals.

Better team...nah. Georgia didn't play up to their potential and OSU played lights out. Georgia still got the W though.

Good thing USC wasn’t in that final 4, otherwise one game would have been a boring blowout

I'm glad this is over. Not sure which is more lame, college football or the NBA.

Too bad the real Championship game was played on 12/31, OSU and GA. TCU looked like shit and very inexperienced. Some could say they looked like a deer in headlights most of the game.

OSU will win it all next year. Returning everyone on the offensive side of the ball...CJ to make his decision by 1/16.

Isn't the realistic expectation that CJ is on his way to the NFL draft in April?

It is, but he hasn't declared yet. If I were him, I would stay one more year to polish up on his skills. He is already making ridiculous amounts of NIL money and drives a brand new Benz G Wagon. Why not prove everyone wrong and come back to win the Big Ten, beat *ichigan and win a National Title? The money will be there in the NFL and he has a lot left to accomplish!

I don't think he needs any more polish. He showed he is NFL ready in the CFP but if he does miraculously return, OSU should be favorites to win it all.

Why risk injury or a down year? I know it's not the same as it was before NIL and he can get insurance, but if you are a top pick in the draft, go get the big dollars as soon as you can.

we're talking about hypothetical situations so can we include a USC with a healthy 13 and all their best receivers on the field? I ask because it's hard to blow out a team that is guaranteed to put at least 45 on you. I get that USC's defense is ridiculous but is UGA really gonna get 70?

With USC defense, I would say Yes. They hit, but always seem to fail to wrap up.

P.S. I am an USC alumnus too.

Lincoln needs to hit that transfer portal hard. That defense is terrible.

NFL ready...the last 20 years every QB out of OSU has done nothing in the NFL. Within a few years they are either a backup, wide receiver, or out of the league. When are these organizations going to figure out OSU system doesn't produce elite level NFL QBs?

I got an idea, lets expand the playoffs so we can get some more blowouts like last night. What complete mismatch in talent.

agreed. However, this happened because.

1) Michigan crapped the bed and lost to a team that had no business being there. (Nevermind the bad calls, that didn't lose the game)

2) OSU kicker missing a routine 50 yarder.

IMO, it should have been OSU vs. Michigan in the championship (even UGA v Michigan would have been better), but such is life! This is miles better than the BCS fiasco we use to have.

I too, turned the game off after the first half. it wasn't even fun to watch.

I said it earlier in the thread. TCU should have been 4 seed. Mich/OSU should have rematched for chance to represent Big10 in championship game against defending champions. Instead what happened, Mich let TCU put up 51 points. Which looks even worse after last night. OSU played their best game and still couldn't pull out a win against Georgia. Committee blew it with the seeds. A first round Mich/OSU rematch would have been massive ratings. Expanded playoffs is just going to produce more blowouts, letting less talented teams in...or just let Saban in playoffs with 2 losses.

Michigan/OSU rematch would have been great. When we met the first time, we blew the brakes off of OSU because they had a bad game. If they were in fighting shape, it would have been a lot closer.

Leaked audio of Kirby Smart pre-game speach.

No wonder TCU didn't stand a chance.
