Drivers side angel eyes out
Bought my e90 330d yesterday what an amazing car!!! Took a 2 hour drive to London in my e46 318i with the wife an I drove the 330d back and she drove the 318i. Now I've got one problem. Before I bought it and and struck a deal everything was fine but when I was about an hour and half home with only half an hour left a bulb warning flashed up on the dash and the drivers side indicators were giving me the sign of one being out (flashing fast) it wasn't until I got home that I noticed the drivers side angle eyes are also out?
Does this happen when you have a indicator out or is this a common fault Thanks daz |

An angel eye being out will not affect the indicators so sounds like you have two faults. Replacing angel eye is an easy job, bulbs are stupidly dear from dealer.

It's oem angel eyes as it has xenon headlights. Is changing the bulb way or beat to buy new angel eyes?

Sorted the indicator today and the angel eyes on drivers side is still out so obviously not related just a coincidence they went at the same time. |

They are pretty easy on the coupe. Not too sure on the E90. IIRC, you have to access it via the wheel arch. May mean a wheel/arch-liner partial removal job!

To be honest bud, you may be better going to a local independant garage. I'd hazard a guess that you'd get charged minimum hours labour (if not half hour) for that. At £120 (my dealer rate anyway) thats gonna be one expensive light bulb.

It isn't a BMW specific part, you can get same from halfords or similar. I chose to get mine from dealer to make sure it's light was exactly the same as other side.

I did my angel light bulb when I bought my car, I decided to upgrade to some LED ones from eBay, loom much much better.
Fitting wise it took me about an to do both sides. You can struggle around using the little hatch in the wheel arch but I decided to take the wheel liner out and made the job 1000 times easier.
