Favorite route Boston to New York?

Hi all,

Need to make the drive for a day trip.

What's your favorite route to take?

Maybe ones that are most fun, or easiest on our cars

I am thinking 84 down to 684, never tried this way.

thanks!

I always liked Merritt parkway, esp during the fall.

My preference would be to avoid NYC like the plague lol

Upstate NY is a different story though. Loved driving north.

I drive to Stamford and take the Metro North in. Cheap, easy, and you don't have to drive in the craziness of NYC!

93 to 84 to 91 to 15. The Merritt is really nice now that they've re-paved the Greenwich-Fairfiled area.
