rough idle, random misfire codes, no loss of power or stalls or long cranks

rough idle as in bounces around in a range of maybe 200rpm when idling, not major shakiness

sometimes after a hard acceleration the car starts misfiring alot for the next 5-10 minutes

everything stock

spark plugs just replaced and vanos solenoids cleaned to no avail and oil change has been done regularly

since its random misfire, I kind of doubt it coils or injectors cause they wouldn't all go bad at once

and also I think alot of common issues would trigger specific codes maybe

let me know what you guys think thanks (09 335xi)

Misfires are usually caused by plugs /coils or even injectors.

Read the codes to find out which cylinders misfiring, then swap coils to rule them out first.

Make sure the coil connectors are fully seated. Don't rely on the levers to pull them in.
