Oil milage has reset.

No it did not switch from Mls to Kms I made sure, it went from 6k miles till change to 18k miles till I need it changed. Is there anything I can do? It's obviously wrong. I change my own oil regularly anyway, but it would be nice to save the money on oil for one change and have them do it.

A similar thing happened to me. It went from 3,000ish miles to 15,000 miles. I drove around, and after several weeks, it corrected itself. The miles started lowering by a thousand each time I started the car until the message that said I need an oil change came on. It looks like it's on par again now that I've got the freebie oil change and they reset it.
