idrive knob ; easy to remove ?

Hi everybody,

does anyone hae experience in removing the "idrive knob" ?

What kind of tool do you need ?

With your hand firmly hold it and pull it straight upwards, a little force is needed but eventually you'll get the hang of it.

YEP, thats what I did as well.

mine was really attached to the stick.
I could not pull it with my hands.

I put a MF towel to protect the wood trim and I used 2 long flat screw
drivers. One on either side of the knob.
