Did anyone else notice the aftermarket Pioneer speakers? Curious to see if this would effect the value. Looks a bit out of place

Sorry guys. Watching those 1600 Veloce auctions and I couldn't resist. BaT or not, there's no doubt in my mind the car will go to a good steward.

Can’t blame you... this is arguably the perfect spec. Opens it up to a large pool of buyers looking for exactly this. Such an awesome car

Wow, the best everything - 6MT, interior and exterior colours, single hump, etc. What an amazing car, good luck with the auction!

I look at that car and see all the rust underneath and the multiple panel accident damage/repaint, and I don't have any desire to pay a premium price for something like that. No thanks.

My plan was to buy it, make it my daily for a 6mo - 2 years and clean it up over time then hopefully break even on BaT or if I got lucky, make a little. Will be interesting to see if it pops back up.
You're probably right. I'm horrible at forecasting. I've missed so many good real estate opportunites because I'm too cautious and simple. I'm not on the trip to the moon with all the other GME cowboys. It was a unique car. It will possibly end up on BaT and sell for 30, someone will walk away with 10gs for a weekend of cleaning and a good paint detail guy.

speaking of to the moon, this popped up on the fakebooks. 38k for an auto, white over oyster. Nothing exciting about the car at all to me.

$19,500 after the first day! I'd say you're going to make a profit after driving it around for 3 years. GLWA

Ah, I didn't catch that in the description. Yeah, very unfortunate. And honestly, in an E91 I would much rather have the 2011/2012 iDrive.

A shame about the rust but one could always replace anything that bolts to the body (subframes, diff, suspension components etc) and it would be perfect except for the paint if the chassis is clean.

Carbon copy of my car but I have to say LMB and Saddle is much more exciting than Black/Black!

I would personally just replace the rear subframe since they can be had for cheap then swap in some m3 subframe bushings. The great thing with the rwd cars is that the front subframe is aluminum.

That's the play. The spec is so rare that I wouldn't be put off by a few grand in parts to restore the underside.

At this age and mileage, the rubber suspension components could benefit from a refresh anyways. With new hardware, tie rods, suspension arms, and some used/refreshed calipers the car could be near perfect sans the bit of paintwork.

Really excited to see what this one brings. Definitely thinking north of $30k.

Alternate take: Just buy it back from insurance co. and fix it. Depending on the type of damage, you could easily end up with a solid car + cash in pocket.

Sam offered it to me, the EDIT: 4th owner (1st and 2nd owner were married), before listing on BAT (I sold it to Sam MAY2018). Sadly, too many other priorities this year and next to resume ownership. I'd love another BMW Touring to prepare for HPDEs.

This was a Texas car from 2010 to 2015 when I took ownership. Yes, it saw Indiana winters on snow tires, though the underside on these is well covered and I powerwashed the underside regularly. I saw no reason to freshen bushings when I sold it, but if one was so inclined, a full suspension refresh w/ LSD is what this machine deserves!

Or spray the subframe and diff housing w/ black FluidFilm and keep driving it.

How many manuals are there?

I am beginning to think that the 6MT E91 shipped to the US has to be more than we think - right now there are 3 up for auction on 3 different sites!

* Bring A Trailer - Gorgeous blue car
* Cars and Bids - Dark blue xi
* And a whole new site I knew nothing about - https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2...w-328xi-wagon/

They are everywhere (just being wise BTW, I know they are pretty rare)

Well thanks a lot! I'm not going to tell anyone when I find the Tasman green, 2012, 6MT, sport e91 for $7,500 either... :-)

I am guessing the BaT wagon will hit $35K...just my guess.

I think it's the RWD 6MT that is supposedly so rare - 452 or whatever the number was...
