Steering wheel spun when rack was removed

So while the steering column was disconnected from the rack the wheel was spun. How can I fix it? My thought was to turn on the headlights and aim them straight.

Other thoughts?

you should remove steering wheel, switch centre and check slip ring cassette
if you did not more than 2.5 rotation in any direction everything will be good
if more - then slip ring will be damaged

It's been a couple years since I've taken the steering wheel off. How do I know when it's centered? Is there an indication?

So just make sure the back and forth folds are equal?

if you do not want to remove steering wheel, then when you assemble everything and try to drive, if you have multifunctio buttons not working and airbag fault is lit on instrument panel, then slip ring is damaged

Update

I turned on the car and checked the steering wheel controls, those work fine. So then I confirmed corner light function to center the steering wheel. Centered the rack, and put it back together!
