I'm always looking for mods that are little off the beaten path... fire extinguisher under the passenger seat etc. I know about the triangle... actually the question is whether or not there is an OEM bracket to mount it in the trunk... been through realoem.com and can't locate. Is it a Euro part?

European Delivery cars come with a bracket, it mounts towards to top of the trunk on the left hand wall. I do not know if this can be purchased here or not though.

I added the triangle & brackets to my US-spec car. I ordered the 2 brackets from my local dealership for about $11 & they just clip on to the roof of the trunk:

51477131760
51477131761

I ordered the warning triangle for about from here:
http://www.newministuff.com/new/shop...uctshow&id=366

71601095457

The triangle is a little pricey through here unless you're buying multiple items, so try ebay as well.

Here's a picture I found that illustrates the two brackets and the blue triangle case.

I just ordered the brackets and triangle from http://parts.crownauto.com/

Should be cheaper, easier and faster than the UK source.

Anyone know P/N for a E92 Fire extinguisher? I only have them for the E46 [72 60 0 000 335 (extinguisher) and 82 27 9 413 886 (bracket)]

Jobu... I found the fire extinguisher on realoem.com... you have to choose your vehicle at the very beginning. I think it is technically a 328 part. Not sure... I'll try to find it and let you know.

How do you install the brackets? I'm probably going to get them since I got the triangle during my European Delivery.

Word on the street is that the brackets are left in the car when they re-deliver. You just need to hold on to you triangle and you're good to go.

Hmm... I'm going to have to double-check my trunk. I don't remember seeing it there. Thanks.

I tried picking my car and then searching for "fire" or "extinguisher" but nothing came up. I bet the fire extinguisher itself is the same but the bracket may be different...

OK, so I got the parts. the one that mounts towards the front of the car is easy, the one that goes towards the back is harder, I think you have to remove a grommet to allow the "pin" to go in. This will make sense when you get the part.

Couldn't get the triangle here in the US. Will have to get it (and the first aid kit) when I'm in europe. I'll pick up an extra for you if you like.
