I got rid of my locking bolts after I lost the lock nut, bought 3 replacement and put them in various places in the garage.

You wanna steal some 182s and give me an excuse to call Apex? Don't threaten me with a good time.

Yup wheel locks are completely pointless. Most thieves that are after wheels will know how to get them off without the "key". I've removed 3 of them myself with a good extractor tool when a family member couldn't find their wheel lock key.

The more you can slow a thief down, the better.
I type that while my wheels have no locks…

Speaking of wheels, I was thinking of adding 1 wheel stud/lug nut to each hub.
Make it a bit easier to mount the wheels.
ONLY if the lug nut is a 17mm too.

I’d imagine that be the biggest issue with using an e90 as the tow vehicle. As soon as the drag of the wheel-less vehicle exceeds the traction of the towing vehicle it won’t be going anywhere…

That is encouraging with the e70. Makes me happy to hear as I have basically the same truck, F15.
It was satisfying. I really wasn’t sure if it would be able to do it.

I’m gonna try it with a Awd e91 and see if it’s up to it.
Will report back.

Decided to lower my car in the front today for the first time in my ownership to the fender.

Dropped about 3/4 of an inch to full low on the KW coilover but realized that at this height the spring has about 3/8-7/16” of play up and down with the suspension unloaded, concerning if I were to hit a big bump. Put it back where it was, will need either different springs/coilovers or spring helpers. Xdrive fun.

I have brand new Kw, and damn its too low, e90 are already low, and also ride quality is very poor. All my previous car were dropped, but this one was a bad idea

Anyway, Ill sell those Kw, and go back stock with nice shocks.
Unless there a spring kit that equalize more than lower the car ?

Finished the wiring harness for the ACC retrofit. As much as I can at least. I'm sure I'll need to make a couple modifications but I don't have the car with me for that.

Possible modifications necessary:
Extend power wire
Reroute ground wire
Shorten PTCAN hi/low and 15WUP wires from main harness
Extend 15WUP to CAS after connector (going to try 15WUP from LDM first)
Tessa tape

I agree, I can only hope that they will deter or simply slow down the theives a little. Either way, I think that $58 investment makes me feel marginally better about potentially walking out to the car and finding it sitting on blocks.

The one piece that kept the nitrous build from being finished to completion. Fitting for the fuel feed line adapter.

Made some more space for activities. Still have a few wheels to hang up. Separation my tools and detail stuff finally.

Got the tank bracket finished up so I don’t have to drill into any furniture and dismount whenever I feel like it.

Changed the plugs, they were in good condition considering 150,000km, the 160 interval makes sense.

The FCP ignition tune up kit with Bosch coils came with NGK plugs instead of Bosch. We will see how they hold up.

This is the first time I didn’t use anti seize on the plugs, I didn’t want to over torque them and used a torque wrench to 16nm, on the lower end to be safe.

Also changed filters at 50,000km, it seems like a good interval, they were dirty but not clogged

My plugs were toasted when I did them last month, I'm sure I was the first person to ever change them. 98k when I purchased and did them at 99k.

You should make a thread about this, as I am curious.
What size jets?
What is the expected power to be delivered when activated?
I am assuming this not in tune with the DME and just shooting into the engine.

The bottle bracket looks good, are you going to bolt it down to the floor?
The back part shows no mounting points and rubs against the seat?

And ofc, will the purge lines come out near the hood?
