I second that. E90's are that way as well, especially light-colored ones.

Circled in red is the weak point on the car for me. The door crease on the bottom curves up to the door handle too sharp is not as straight as the E46 and the end is too long in comparison to the E46.

I like them both, but like another member has mentioned, the E46 body style is beginning to look dated.

That's so true. Just earlier this year, I was looking at a used E46 ZHP. I thought that the look was timeless and that with the E90 just out, I could score a bargain. I am SO glad, I went the E90 route.

I still love the E46 shape, but it is undeniably aged by the E90/E92 design. Even more than the E39 was aged when the E60 came out.

Compare to the photos taken in person from Chicago and SF. Those photos make the new car look more amazing than the studio photos released from BMW IMHO.

I like both, but the e92 is definitely more muscular and more modern looking with its high beltline and additional cosmetic improvements.

The E46 does still turn heads. However the interior is much dated. At certain angle of view, the E46 does have a better look.

Need facelift vs facelift.

I still enjoyed my E46, but seeing an E92 for the first time I thought it looked amazing. That's why I finally got one years later.
