Are you shifting at 5300 rpm in 2nd also. At the same boost your cars 4mph faster than my best time (11.6@119)with the same fbo inlet-outlet setup. I even tried 23psi with the 4 bar map sensor and it didn’t make a difference. But your car is moving for a stock turbo car. I’ve been focusing on my s63tu m6 and c7 a6. I thought mid 11s at 120 was the fastest I’d get on the stock turbos full weight. Nice to know theres more in this setup.

Im pretty sure he did some weight reduction, like removed the passenger seat and rear seat for this run. As well I think he is running skinny tires up front which help too. His car is setup well for the dragstrip. Lets wait to here him chime in......Im very impressed too, but all these things help.

i try to keep all shifts below 5300 but 2nd comes up pretty fast so u gotta be quick on the shift. I ran 11.46 @ 120 so the launch is really important for a good ET since we dont have the power to make up for a bad launch. I would say skinnies made the biggest difference ( 2-3 mph ). I just swapped 5 Series spares 17x4 for skinnies as they are almost 3 lbs lighter per side than my previous skinnies. Passenger seat removed is the only weight difference from my 11.46 run. i never did a trans flush on this car and it has 130.000miles so when i did that i felt that my shifts were quicker, especially 2-3. Im sure there was a tenth or 2 there as well.
Heading out next 2 fridays to try to crack 10s !!

Some door to door action with a buddy who has a 135i with the same mods
Prep was shit so we both struggled to get a good launch but it was a fun race anyway
Best pass of the night was a 11.4

another solid pass this week, hot weather and smoke in the air from the forest fires nearby and bad DA, i was actually surprised it ran this good.
This was the best pass of the night, and a few more 11.2s

it sucks that this thread is pretty dead, anyway ill post a super close race with my buddy with the 135i

This little 135i holds the World Record trap speed on stock turbos 128.4 mph
He consistently outtraps me but our best times are identical 11.08

That's about as close as it gets.
I just put a new M4 flywheel in and waiting on a few parts then it track time. I hope I am close to 10's soon because I am running out of $$$.

Had a great day this past weekend. Track was prepped very well. Getting closer to my 10.9 sec goal. Car is an '09 BMW 335i, RB 14T's stage ones, FBO's, stock DI, stage 2 lpfp. Custom E40 tune by DocVu Tuning. 11.1 at almost 126MPH full weight. Not too bad on 265/30/19 Toyo R888R's[IMG][/IMG]

Wow. My old SV1000 sport bike ran nearly the same time and it was quick. Just spray a 50 shot of nitrous, run the 10.9, and then take it off.

What tune hp and psi? I'm working on a very similar build.
I guessing around 540hp. Targeting 21.5psi, tapering down to 19.

A proper drag tire will help your times a lot more than a lsd will.

my buddy with a 135i ran 11.006 on stock turbos, stock diff., Mickey Thompsons ET SS 1.6 60 foot

1.6s 60ft on stock diff., just awesome. Been looking at Mickey thompson and R888r. My falken rt615k doesn’t cut it any more. Granted it was 60F, lost traction did a 2s 60ft and 11.9s 1/4 mi

This is on stock differential. I will be looking at getting a proper set of drag radials on 17" rims to hopefully cut 1.6 60 foots. As well I reached out to Rod Sutphin for a transmission tune which holds more power threw the shifts, similar to the new xhp drag race mode. All this should get me into the 10's.

Silent11N54 Stock turbos.... wow. I can't imagine the turbos lasting very long at the power level required to run 11sec times.

i have been running 11s for almost 4 years now, 21psi for 3 years, now at 25psi

id say well over 100 passes on the strip. No sign of rattle or the turbos not making the boost requested

first time i went to the strip i ran 11.9 with 5 inch fmic, xhp and e40 ots tune. No other mods. getting into the 11s really doesnt take much effort.
