I do want to get an intake. What brand do you guys recommend.

I just looked up walnut blasting. Looks like something I'd have to hire someone to do for sure. My car has 63k miles on it. Think it needs that yet?
Any brand DCI will be fine. Most people just do BMS including me for $100.
I buy replacement filters when they get to dirty for $60

If you are slightly manically inclined you can Walnut blast yourself if you have an air compressor and shop vac. If not, a lot of shops and guys do it for about $300.
I would say you should do it at 63K. It's pretty surprising how much build up you can get on the valves.

Interesting.. Like you went to Home Depot and got it color matched? Never heard of the 2k clear coat either but just found some, thanks!

I ordered the paint from automotivetouchup.com and the Sp*****x 2k clear. The clear hardens and keeps the calipers protected from the brake dust.

Ya I see the giallo modeno color there, pretty good option compared to the $100+ G2

This is dope. I saw a DIY write up for this but not sure if I have the skills to try it yet. Maybe one day, but I have plenty of other projects I need to tackle first though.

Also, what LEDs are you using for the cluster?

I just installed my OEM 19" 225M wheels after getting coilovers in and now I'm rubbing on the radiator vent on the driver's side. Tires are 235/35/19 MPSS and I have 12mm spacers.

I thought 235/35/19s wouldn't cause rubbing?!? The rub isn't bad, so I guess just shave down the vent?

Yeah, it's only in one spot and is really light, maybe it will just work itself out over time.

I haven't had the chance to drive her much yet, on my first drive after installing the coilovers I got a 2E69 knock sensor code + limp mode within a mile. I don't think the coilover install had anything to do with it, just a coincidence. The code comes back immediately after being cleared so I think I just need to replace the sensor, which is conveniently located under the intake manifold

I have Pilot 4s 235s upfront. Used to rub with 225s when I had spacers. Now I don't rub at all without spacers and 235s.

Removed Run Flats and Oh boy what a difference in ride

My 2012 335is has 26000 miles. I'm 72 years old and only drive the car on weekends when I play tennis. I haven't posted in several years but i thought that my recent experience with my car was worth sharing. I heard many people state that changing tires was an important upgrade but boy, I had no idea what a significant difference in ride and handling the change would make. I I purchased Michelin Pilot Super Sport 225/35R19XL 88Y BSW and Michelin Pilot Super Sport 255/30R19XL 91Y BSW Tires fromAffordable Tires for a total of $1196 mounted and balanced. I've only driven 100 miles or so but boy the difference in handling and ride is amazing. These are summer tires and they state that they should not be driven in extremely cold weather but do they ever grip. Previously when I would accelerate I could some times feel the rear end slip and try to break free..but now there is no slip but just grip and amazing acceleration. I must say the ride on the run flats was rough and bumpy and now I get a smooth almost limo-like ride. I'm very satisfied and wish I'd made the change sooner.

First hot day of summer. MHD sport cooling keeping temps at 220f in traffic/a couple of hard pulls.

The engine fan is constantly on at max speed lol

Would be cool to be able to toggle that easily for when you want it.

Hell yeah! Super Sports are by far the most versatile "summer" tire. I used them all year round one year when I didn't have a second car or second set of wheels, and I'm talking about New England winter!

Damn I'd like to get super sports but at 1200$ USD it hurts the wallet when you already have to buy 1000$ winter tires lol.

Maybe I might get them in the rear only.... or is that a bad idea.
