I'm selling my like new condition PS3, the original 60GB.
PS 2 compatible
4 USB ports
Media card reader built in (Flash/SD/SDHC/Memorystick)

I'm the original owner and purchased it right before they dropped media reader and PS2 compatibility.

I really didn't play much. Less than 10 games were played and watched some BD movies but after I got my BD player, I really didn't use my PS3 much.

I have all original box, manual etc.
Selling it for 300 cash local pick up.
I'm in near Del Mar.

PS. again, this is original 60 GB with hardware backward compatibility, not newer cheaper hardware version. =)

Very first PS3 60GB are most desirable PS3 in gamer's market.
Due to it's PS2 hardware compatibility, media card reader, 4 USB ports and better components before they changed hardware to drop the prices.

I didn't know that either but that's what I found out from local gamestop and ebay listings. =)

I actually went to Gamestop to trade my PS3. They were shocked that I was trying to trade original 60GB for $160.

They told me why original 60GB goes for so high these days and asked me to check eBay for going rate.

But hey, if I have things that values more than others, I have to sell at going rate, not low rate, right?

The original 60GB is still pretty pricey because a) it has everything on there and b) it's no longer made. When I was looking for buy one I wanted the original 60GB (forgot the model #) but it was too pricey. I could have gotten a 40gb or 80gb for less. So yeah it's a great system and a lot of people are still looking for it.

OP- you know the going rate so just sell it for around that mark. Be sure to post it on Craigslist too. G'luck.
