This car is a POS! Im Done!

I have just about had it with this car. With just 26,000 miles I have had a fuel pump replaced 4 injectors replaced. Both turbo's replaced and today the car threw a check engine again. It was running really ruff and even shut off on me when I was slowing to stop. This car is no longer reliable or safe. It is ridiculous that I paid so much money for a car that in my books is a lemon. Needless to say I will be getting rid of this car within the next couple of months and it wont be replaced by another BMW.

Sorry for the rant. I just needed to vent.

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you just had some bad luck. Maybe give it one more chance?

Damn. Well, i guess i don't really blame you for feeling so frustrated considering all the issues your car has had. Luckily the only issue i've ever had is one HPFP. Maybe it's best to go back to Ford? I dunno...

Wow you installed the fuel pump yourself...Was it challenging compared to like a DP install?

Or just take the bus? That way, you will never have to worry about car repair ever again.

I didn't have nearly as many problems with my Ford with 70,000 miles as I am having with the BMW and It even had an aftermarket supercharger on it. At least when the FORD broke it only cost me a case of beer and a friends garage to fix the car. This car would cost me a fortune outside of warranty. The 2011 Shelby GT500 is starting to look real good.

I expect things to break but on a $50,000 car these kind of issues should not be acceptable.

the hard part was getting specific tools needed for the install
it was fairly easy other than that
and ive had little experience in the engine

it's amazing how it or miss it is... that's the most puzzling thing. some folks need many fuel pumps and injectors and such.. other folks don't need anything.

Well, it's a man made product. There are so much moving parts. Whether it be $50K or 100K, every car is bound to break some thing sometime. I know how you feel, I've owned a car that saw the dealership longer then I have owned it. Sucks, but what can you do?

So you've had your HPFP replaced 1x, and 4 injectors 1x and now the turbos 1x? Any of them been replaced 3 times? This will get you in the lemon law.

It's x2 for the injectors. I am hoping it is the injectors this time so I can Lemon Law it. I might preorder a 2011 GT500.

Coming from AMG (clk55), my 335 is an angel in comparison. Good luck with your next purchase.
