It is a great idea but in Canada the front skirt piece already comes pre drilled and some have the black plate holder. So in the end it does not really matter cuz the plate will still take away from the appearance. But if you don't want to drill this is a very cool and interesting solution!
NO cars come with the front bumper already drilled. the dealer drills the bumper so that they can put the plate bracket on. I specifically asked the dealer not to mount the plate bracket or drill any holes into my bumper, and I have been running no plate for 2 years in Toronto.

first, be my guest at paying $50 or more for a plate holder vs $10 and second I really don't like the cockeyed look of the tow hook...symmetry is your friend.

+1 for avoiding holes
-1 for prohibiting airflow
-1 for not using euro plate

beats holes though

Not really constricting the airflow compared to the factory plate mount...i actually raised it up to match the factory position.

I was at a car show last week, saw a car with this plate holder and noticed it was rusting. After seeing it, I was a bit reluctant to install the plate holder. Has yours started to rust?

pahahahaha prohibiting airflow? i think the 8 sq in on air being blocked is negligible, and euro plates are not allowed in some states....
