Not to say that you do not know what you are saying, moreso that your presumption that I was young so I automatically cannot handle a car of this "high magnitude" is inappropriate. As I have reiterated in mostly all of my 28 posts, driving performance is gauged on maturity rather than age. It is more than common to find young owners immature compared to others; see the Gruesome E92 crash posts in the front page. I have been recommended by many to join autocross including Porsche Cup champion Ronn Langford, whose daughter was killed in an accident. He has taught me for more than 30 hours on the road on how to avoid accidents and how to handle this car in many different situations. It saddens me to see you automatically group me into the immature age group when you haven't even witnessed me post or do things that describe my character. I wish the best in luck for life to you and hopefully you can wish the same for me.

Shaunt
I never said you were immature. All I said is that you lack driving experience.

Mario Andretti is now what, 67? He is the best "senior citizen driver" I know

Coo. Have no idea where those places are so LOL. But yeah, definately post pics when your cars done. And when you DO post pics, don't put your age please. There are some idiots on this forum that base the person solely on their age.

Other than that, you have to drive up to a NORCAL meet for us to see it in person

Well first, he's 15.

for deductive reasoning. The OP seems mature though, as long as he knows his limits he should be fine.

true but he couldve been driving for a while now or he could have had extensive training by a Porsche Cup Champion who goes by the name of Ronn Langford (in which this case he did haha)

Still isn't extensive, he even admitted to it (which is a good thing).

Hey all,

So the Technik guys just called me to clarify the options that my father and I set out to put on the car. I was wondering what your guys' opinions were on the RD sport quad exhaust. I told the guys to pass on it because I think it would make my car look too much the the ///M. If any of you guys think otherwise, I would appreciate some explanations as well to support your statements. Also, I am getting Pirelli PZero Corsa System wheels but I am wondering if there are any other tires, in your own opinion, that are better. Thanks to all of you guys for following this thread, the finished product will be ready in 2 to 3 weeks.

Regards
Shaunt

Don't show off in front of your high school friends, they will die of jealousy and envy, which is never good.

LMAO at this thread!!!

I just sat reading it for like 15 minutes, this thread is awesome

///Shaunt- congratulations on a HUGE project. you seem to have a good head on your shoulders, just don't give anyone a reason to play the "see, i told you a 15yr old couldn't handle a car like " card. I'm 19 and I've driven nice cars since i was 15 as well. You're very fortunate to have this opportunity, but you must understand that others' jealousy just comes with the territory. There's no point to being defensive, it's just the way the world works. Oh, and NEVER, EVER, EVER, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO SMOKE SOMEBODY, EVER, EVER, EVER STREET RACE. I know you say "oh i won't ever do that" now, but it's really hard not to when some d-bag pulls up next to you and wants to go. DO NOT DO IT. Oh, and what is your reasoning for going with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires?? Those are normally reserved for track cars that hardly or never see the street. You'll eat through them so fast, and tires that start with a 3 in the width category aint cheap!

Oh, and schneid, if you read this (and i hope you do)- lets keep the judgements to ourselves eh? aren't you the guy who wrecked your car ON THE WAY TO A D.E. and then blamed the whole thing on your dad? I wouldn't have brought it up, but don't be such a dlck, ok? christ ....
