My project over the winter. Changed my interior from plain old boring grey, to black. Added the ZHP M sport shift knob and alcantara boot, along with the brushed aluminum parking brake and matching alcantara boot. Just need to add the floor mats.

(Ignore the dirty pedals. There's dirt everywhere!)

Now... what to do with the blank canvas that is the dove grey sport seats I have sitting in my basement. Hmm...

Stainless pedal set would look great with your interior.

The dead pedal isn't included, but these slip on with no drilling. Gas pedal is replaced as a complete unit.

A guy just listed a stainless pedal set in the classifieds for $80 so I'd check into that and see which one it is.

I like the sound of the oem "is" exhaust with downpipes so I decided to get the BMS tips to fill the gap and add some spice

Spiffy! I need to do mine soon, hoping by mid-April winter will have officially passed and I can toss in the summer mats with a full interior detail...

I miss when it was so clean!

Did you upgrade the speaker grills to M3 grills? They look great with the aluminum trim!

Yup. When I swapped my interior to Saddle Brown the donor car actually came with the Individual Audio speaker system. So it has the actual upgraded speakers along with the grilles Straight plug and play for a Logic 7 equipped car which mine thankfully is/was.

How do the speakers sound with the Logic 7 amp? Any noticeable difference? My car is fitted with Logic 7 which is quite rare for a 328i.

Definitely much clearer. There is a noticeable difference in sound quality right off the bat, and it will improve once I swap in the amplifier too. The speakers themselves are of way better build quality than even the L7 ones. Totally worth it in my opinion, and I haven't even done the underseat subs yet. The bass response is definitely not up to par with the mids and highs right now in terms of accuracy and clarity lol.

I have the full EPS/Individual Audio setup in the M3 and there is a significant difference from my 328's L7 setup or even the hybrid setup right now. The amp is - obviously - a major factor here.

Sounds like your 328i has some really nice options too, which is indeed quite rare for this model.

Thanks, it's a rare bird. It only has 3 options. M-sport package, leather seats, and HK audio. Must have been special ordered from the dealer.

My plan is to build a car packed with OEM BMW Performance catalog parts and original BMW accessories.

Is the L7 harness a plug and play for all the individual/Dirac speakers? The Dirac system is 825 Watts vs 420 Watts for the LCI HK systems. Tempting upgrade, but I'm not sure I can drop the price for a complete package on eBay. Might take a year or so to piece together a system for the best bang for a buck.

My next big purchase is Avant Garde 359M or 313M with Michelin PS4S.

The wiring between L7 and Individual Audio is 100% identical. No extra work required. Just drop in the speakers and the amp, be sure to get the crossover for the front door speakers as well. Keep an eye out on eBay and just piece together pairs of speakers. That's usually the cheapest way to go. Or look for a wrecked E92 M3 (as a lot of them have Individual Audio) at a wrecker or car-parts.com.
