Mount and balance in DC/Arlington? Where to go...
hi guys,
so bmw alexandria were dbags about mounting my tires since i didnt purchase them there (ridiculous cause i bought my car there), so that knocks them out of the running. Last time i had tires mounted in dc, I went to the sunoco on the corner of P between 22 and 23 and they scratched up both my rear wheels (they have offered to refinish them but i havent had a chance). Wondering if anyone can recommend a shop in arlington or foggy/dupont/gtown that can carefully mount and balance some new ps2's? thanks |

Easy, go to Costco in Newington. By far the most advanced tire shop in the area for the lowest prices. Alot of car clubs take their cars there.

I had mine done at Merchant's Tire in Vienna, but there's one on Lee Hwy in Arlington. Just watch them do it and they'll be careful.

You might want to call ahead. Not all places have the equipment to mount low profile or run flat tires.
I've taken most of my cars to Advanced Auto Tech in Newington. Their prices are decent and they seem to take care in their work. Certainly a no-nonsense kind of place. That's probably a bit far for you to go to though, but you can check them out at www.advancedautotech.net. Last edited by Wrngway; 04-24-2012 at 01:46 PM.. |

It's a small world then. That's one reason I use them. They offer a shuttle service within 3 miles, so you may be able to take advantage of that.
FYI...the name is actually Advanced Auto Tech, not "Advance". Last edited by Wrngway; 04-24-2012 at 01:46 PM.. |

Hands down Radial Tire in Silver Spring! They hooked me up big time! I know you said Arlington, but Silver Spring isn't too far from you. Just around the beltway.
