I can't believe it sounds as good as it does. How weird. I may have to do follow suit.

holy crap. i just did this mod, but i also had the resonator delete as well.

my car sounds like ...a freakin monster:rocks::rocks::rocks:. I will try to post sound clips asap, but seriously...it makes me happy.

at first when i took out the resonator, and just had the muffler on...it wasn't as loud as i wanted it to be. So i have a 3inch pipe where the resonator used to going into a 2.5 pipe on where the muffler used to be. So yes, i like it very much. Very deep, loud, and it has the throaty sound. I will try to post a vid asap!!

there can be no DIY for this unless you have the following tools and supplies:

-welding machine
-sawzall
-pipe bender/enlarger
-muffler tips

this is work that should be done at a muffler shop, since you actually have to SAW out the muffler, and weld in a tube that looks like an S into it's place. if you have the tools for it, all the power to you...but welding machines are very expensive...its worth the 100 bucks and 2 hours at a muffler shop...

NOO, i couldnt stand it without the resonator...it sounded like a mustang with straight pipes! well if you like that sound, then all the power to you...just my opinion...

i payed 47 bucks at Midas to get my muffler off and 120 bucks to get my resonator off. i personally think it sounds like a monster, and i showed my freinds and they thought it would be one of "those" cars that are loud as shit. but honestly this mod sounds great to me. i love it man
