Did you code your brakes after swapping to the f30 brembos?

Yes I did. It’s the sport brake option.

It’s a direct swap. There’s a thread on here with all the details, you just need to trim the black plastic thing. The details are explained in that thread. Google should find it easily.

I can’t say I’ve noticed any difference from that alone. At the time when I added that Cusco Rear Strut brace I didn’t get a chance to push the car before other mods were also added, so I can’t isolate any improvements to it alone. I know roastbeef is also running one maybe he can weigh in if he felt it was worthwhile.

I didn't feel a difference. It's right below a thick cross section that is built into the car. While it may help, it's adding rigidity where it isn't already pretty rigid.

Fair enough. I won't be getting one anyhow - use my e91 for wagon duties often. Was just curious

Good to know, thanks! I expect it'd be more noticeable on a wagon.

Probably. The e9x M cars already have some side braces. The side braces get replaced by the blue brackets with this kit and adds the cross bar. If they put those braces there for M cars, there has to be a benefit. It's just that the cross brace wasn't a huge step up from there.

My E92 328i also had the side braces stock. So all the coupes have them.

I know the wagons don’t I remember a wagon build thread on here where someone added them. I assume the sedans don’t have them either but that’s just a guess.

Interesting. A while back I had someone that did auto cross in their non-m car ask to buy my oem braces. I'm not sure what model it was, but he made it sound like an exclusive M part. This brace is also not listed on any parts list, nor is there a part number on it.

Rear Suspension Mods (All 20 rear suspension bushings replaced with Uniballs, Solid Subframe Inserts, M3 Rear Swaybar, BMW Performance Spring and Damper, -2.0 camber)
Chassis Stiffening Mods (UUC Front Strut Brace, M3 Chassis Plate/Subframe Brace, E93 Front Subframe Brace, Cusco Rear Strut Brace)

There’s like literally 40 or 50 mods all contributing to a sum whole, and I believe the answer is all of them.
Nice! BTW, are you currently running the rear M3 guide rods like these ones from Bimmerworld?

https://www.bimmerworld.com/Suspensi...M-E8X-E9X.html

Wondering if they are worthwhile as the install seems to be straightforward.

Yeah I got the M3 arms a few years ago and then swapped the rubber bushings to Uniballs a couple months ago.

The M3 arms are easy install. Like 2 hours to swap them on jack stands from the time you first put the jack under your car to having it back wheels on ground.

The uniball swap into the control arms is all about having the right tools. Wrong tools it’s going to kick your ass for a whole weekend. Right tools a couple hours.

I have thought about it but since my car is primarily a street/daily driver it’s not a compromise I would make. Scratches too easy and not worth the trade offs to me.
